Uses
Extremely concentrated: dilute to a more manageable concentration first, like 3%. 1 gallon of 34% H2O2 can be diluted to the equivalent of 11 gallons of 3% peroxide! Other common usages include cleaning, brightening agent for laundry, and as “liquid oxygen” in horticulture. NOT FOOD GRADE. NEVER INGEST OR APPLY TO BODY. USE SAFETY PROTECTION.
So, it is imperative to remember no matter your intended usage – you could do everything correctly in theory but still have a bad finished product or result if you use low quality starting components. The peroxide is exactly as expected. If you order a gallon, note that it will arrive as four 1 quart bottles. Makes handling much easier. My only gripe was I had a small leak when I was taking them out of the box and got it on my hands. No serious effects, but it did bleach my hands where it touched me, so that should speak to the concentration being as expected.

I had seen a professional drycleaner’s video use grocery store 3% H2O2 with water in a spray bottle used to successfully bleach yellowed pillow covers.

Happy with the delivery time and ease of ordering. There was a tiny leak of hydrogen peroxide or something inside the bubble wrap even with the cap and plastic seal seemingly intact, that degraded the plastic label printing, but didn’t get to the cardboard box. The bottom of the plastic quart container was bulged out permanently, so maybe it was exposed to high heat in shipment.

Historically, getting hydrogen peroxide at this concentration has been difficult because of the dangers associated with it from a shipping perspective. I use it for gardening during seed starting and having the more concentrated stock makes delusions easier and more economical. okay, they shipped on time and i received the chemical i ordered at a competitive price..and then it arrived…the bottle was not wrapped in a plastic bag and, admittedly thoughtlessly, i reached in barehanded. perhaps ten minutes later the index finger and thumb of my right hand turned white and began to burn as well as a few blotches on my left hand which i had obviously touched with my right. there was no msds sheet enclosed and when i accessed on on line it recommended rinsing the chemical burn with water for sixty minutes. this proved unnecessary, after an hour or so the white blotches began to fade and the burning had ceased before that. minuscule amount of 34% hydrogen-peroxide on the bottle’s exterior? unknown, however, gloves will be a necessary component of any future unpacking from this vendor.

It would be best if you shipped in a sealed plastic bag. My bottle leaked during shipping and my hands were bleached white In splotches where the hydrogen peroxide had leaked. I haven’t actually used my hydrogen peroxide yet, but I wanted to let you all know that when it shipped, the seal must have broken on the bottle because the package was wet. I should have worn gloves when handling, but I didn’t realize the box was saturated with the peroxide and it burned my hands. I washed for about 20 minutes with dish soap and it seemed to go away. Additionally, due to the peroxide solution getting on the outside of the bottle, the letters on the label wiped off as I dried the bottle with a towel. This makes me a little nervous as I can no longer read most of the label. I wanted to let you all know to hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else. Thank you.
