Notice of Product Recall: DIYChemical Brand Potassium Hydroxide and Sodium Hydroxide

We wish to inform you of a recent recall concerning our DIYChemical Brand Potassium Hydroxide and Sodium Hydroxide products. The decision to recall these items has been made in response to the products not meeting the necessary safety standards set by the National Poison Prevention Act. Specifically, the products were packaged without child-resistant features and were missing the “POISON” indication on the label.

  4. Dispose: If you have already opened your product, and do not wish to receive a free replacement child-resistant packaging and a new label, please dispose of the product according to all local and national regulations.

The National Poison Prevention Act requires the use of child-resistant packaging and clear “POISON” labeling on certain household chemicals as a measure to ensure the safety of consumers, especially young children.
